 Scratch from drawing study with understanding end customer specific requirements Selection of Process/Tooling/Machinery/Shop layout Design/manufacturing/Procurement of Tooling/equipment Establishment of Quality Management System- APQP, FMEA,PPAP etc. Tryouts, analysis, improvement actions & establishment for production with desired Quality/ Productivity/Product cost within stipulated time frame.

2. Support for Improvement Projects:

A)Productivity Improvement :→

Analysis of existing process & improvement with optimum investment- low cost automation; modification in layout/machines/equipment.

  • B)Rejection Reduction :→

    • Using systematic Problem Solving Techniques & Tools, reduction in rejection & create a system for sustenance of the results in future.

  • C)Cost Reduction :→

    • With analytical & thorough study of existing operations, to provide cost reduction solutions & create a system for sustenance of the results.

  • D)Customer Specific Projects :→

    • Work as representative for OE customer, Tier II supplier development; Local liasoning representative or any specific requirement.

    Design/Manufacture of Foundry pattern equipment/fixtures; Machine shop jigs/fixtures/tackles/special cutting tools with the help of manufacturers.

    4. Agricultural Machinery- Design/ manufacturing:

    →Design/Manufacture of Agricultural machinery/Equipment with the help of manufacturers.

    5. Special Purpose Machines- Design/ manufacturing:

    Design/Manufacture of special purpose machines as per customer/ component requirement with the help of manufacturers

    6. Foundry Shell core/ Cold box Machines Design/ manufacturing:

    Design/Manufacture of foundry shell core/ cold box machines as per customer requirements with the help of manufacturers

    7. Automation in Foundry/ Machine Shop:

    →Design/Manufacture/ installation of automation system as per customer requirement with the help of manufacturers.

    8. Liasoning Agency for Distance customer:

    For Distance customers like Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, John Deere, Ashok Layland, KOEL, Sonalika tractors, Escorts Ltd., Maruti Udyog etc. for follow up with their suppliers in Kolhapur, Pune, Sangli, Satara, Belgaum for new component development, supplier Development, dispatches, quality enhancement, productivity improvement & customer specific projects. Presently working for Greaves Cotton Ltd., Pune for new product development and rejection reduction for their suppliers in Kolhapur, Belgaum.

    • Anand Borude is the Co-Founder and Director of Unique industries.DME, DBM, MBA (Manufacturing).
    • 35 years of experience in foundry and machine shop for new product development, rejection/cost reduction, Productivity improvement, SPM design/ manufacturing, Quality Management system implementation, TPM, Lean manufacturing & many more.
    • He has worked with reputed organizations like Menon and Menon Ltd./ Yash Metallics Pvt. Ltd./ New Melting Centre Pvt. Ltd. Kolhapur & Neosym Industry Ltd. Pune at Senior Management position.
    • He is well aware of the OE customer i.e. Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd., John Deere, Tata Motors, General Motors etc.- Customer Specific Requirements
